Chess is a game of mind and talent and it’s truly a sport for all. Playing chess is a great way to enhance your mental capabilities. Chess club is one of the most active clubs of the RAJ INTERNATIONAL where the student members of the Chess Club along with the teachers-in-charge have informal chess training sessions.

Students are equipped with basic skills and strategies for playing at an international level. Students who have achieved the required standards are encouraged to participate in chess competitions at inter-school and community level. Basic rules and regulations of the game are taught to those students who have had no previous experience of chess.

Through playing chess, students are able to cultivate a hobby which stimulates the mind towards proactive and rational thinking, encourages decision making skills given the challenging environment, and also inspires self-discipline since it's time-bound in nature.

Dramatics Club

“Acting is behaving truthfully under imaginary circumstances”Drama is a collaborative form of fine art that sees live performers presenting the experience of a real or imagined event before a live audience in a specific place, often a stage. THE theater classes as raj international school held with the objective that The performers may communicate this experience to the audience through a combination of gestures, speech, song, music, and dance. These classes enable student to think out of thebox. Elements of art, such as painted scenery and stagecraft such as lighting are also used to enhance the physicality, presence and immediacy of the experience.

This is a small club of few students. At the beginning of the session, the students were asked to submit a 'Wish List' naming the books they desired to read during the session. The teachers also suggested names of books and authors that the students could consider reading. After the reading of a book each student was asked to present an oral review of the same. They also spoke about their favourite characters, important events and incidents in the book. Apart from this, they had to speak out about whether they recommended the reading of the book or not and why. The club also held group discussions about the books that had been read. In this manner, each child not only read several different books, but also learnt to appreciate different genres of writing. The bstudent enjoyed being a part of the club and exploring the joys of reading.

The Quiz Club in raj international has been quite active and efficient in igniting young minds to consistently raise the bar in Quizzing.the students are motivated to seek knowledge, to widen their horizons, and be confident enough to take on greater challenges in the quizzing sphere.The students prepare and take turns in hosting a quiz when it is conducted. The process has made them avid readers, knowledge seekers, and smart thinkers with excellent analytical skills.The club intends to continue inspiring the students to develop a passion for quizzing, gaining and sharing knowledge.

The Environment clubs at raj international is a program with the aim to create Leaders for Environmental Awareness and Protection (L.E.A.P) among our students. The club gives them the platform they need to make their contributions towards preserving the environment. Promoting clean and green consciousness across all stakeholders, the club members ensure employment of effective waste management within the campus and the neighbouring community. The club educates students about gardening and its importance – they learn techniques, floral designs and are taught the concept of reduce, reuse and recycle.

This club works towards identifying the sporting talent at our schools. Sportsmanship lies at the heart of this club as it drives students to be their best on the field, providing opportunities at inter and intra competitions. Through the club, the school’s talent has the ability to observe, analyse and judge performances of them and their peers. The club also works towards developing self-confidence and self-esteem through positive sporting experience.

The club’s aim is to develop the debating skills of students, enabling members to work on their oration and ability to make effective argument. In addition to this, the club encourages students who want to improve the communication skills and stage presence. It provides a forum for keen debaters to practice and share their feedback. The club members work in tandem to analyse and dissect topics of discussion, select and evaluate evidences, construct and refute arguments.

Music Club

"Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything."

The aim of the club is to provide a platform for the school’s music talent – helping them master their skills at singing or a musical instrument and their ability to perform individually or in a group. Being an integral part of the club, the school choir performs at various school events and represents the school in various inter and intra school competitions.

ICT Club

“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”

ICT or Information and Communication Technology Club aims to nurture creative and programming skills in students, helping them sharpen their research and presentation skills. The club also aims to promote innovation among its members as they seek out technological solutions to problems that may arise in a school environment. It helps students improve their design capabilities and their skills with communication and information technology. It encourages students to appreciate the role of Information and Communication in today’s world. Students are introduced to website building and design among other activities.

The club promotes the interest of science among students. It engages its student with hands-on experiments and a supportive environment to bring their ideas to life. The aim of the club is to apply science not just within the curriculum as it connects students to the science community outside school.
The club provide an ample opportunity to student to test their own ideas and build their own understandings.
